delicious food with sufficient vegetarian options adjustable for dairy intolerance. The menu uses seasonal ingredients, which adds more charm. Liked the wine menu and especially the notebook log of wine bottles. The service is a bit too slow, spent 2 hours on starter and main, waiters are nice and welcoming.

Café Carob in De Pijp offers a cozy, French bistro atmosphere with exceptional service. The staff's warmth and attentiveness added greatly to the experience. Their wine selection is impressive, perfectly complementing the French cuisine. Most dishes were delightful, but the Partridge Red-Legged and its side, although well-prepared, had an overwhelming mix of flavors. This small point aside, this place is a wonderful spot for French dining. Definitely worth a visit!

Very interesting and special place. They know how to cook chicken in a state of the art. There is a wide range of wines available. Pear for the dessert was amazing. Ravioli is something unforgettable. But chicken is still chicken and pear is still pear. So despite you get some gastronomic pleasure you still hope for more and it doesn’t come. Don’t seat at the bar - very crowded and noisy.

Really lovely location and everything was excellent. Super creative and tasty interpretations of unique dishes. The Gamba and hen of the woods were incredible starters. Also a very nice and approachable wine list.

A gastronomic journey that will leave your taste buds in awe! The Lamb Shoulder is magnificent , elevating simplicity to extraordinary heights with its carefully crafted flavors. Impeccable service adds a delightful touch to the whole experience. And the Melon with Ice Cream! It's a superb finale that mesmerizes your senses with its perfectly balanced taste. While we also tried the Strawberries with gingersnap, the Melon steals the show, making it a must-visit place to savor the Lamb Shoulder and relish the captivating Melon dessert. You won't be able to resist returning for this tantalizing duo!

I’m deducting a star because a colleague and I had a medium case of food poisoning the day after (took me out for a few days). It may have been the oysters but there’s no way to know for sure so I wanna be fair and leave it at 4 stars. Apart from that, everything else was fantastic. The food, wines and service were excellent and I would definitely come back. The open kitchen is very nice as well.

Really good and special food, non alcoholic cider and atmosphere. You don't hear loud music and you can enjoy a nice evening with your friends or colleagues. Also, I had there the best sourdough bread in Netherlands. First time I tasted sourdough bread here that was not chewy or hard to digest. The sourdough bread was light as a cloud inside and crunchy on the outside. Everything was amazing 👏
